What drives trust when banking goes online? Digital technologies have been held out as a tool for increasing access to financial services, but digital financial services has also become increasingly fragmented, creating confusion among consumers and allowing for the dissemination of deceptive products and providers that undermine, rather than support, consumer financial well-being. In this session, Dr. Bill Maurer will share consumer insights on trust and explore how community listening and co-creation can jumpstart trust-building.
By attending this session, attendees will learn:
- Outcomes of new major research on digital financial services supported by the National Science Foundation
- How to accelerate trust-building with local communities
- How to invest in partnerships to enhance digital innovation and experience
