Having served as the EVP/COO since January 2016, McMillian was designated the Chief Financial Health Officer in 2020. She has been a driving force in the leadership team since joining the organization in March 2000. She currently implements and oversees the short and long-term strategic objectives of the credit union, while directly overseeing Human Resources, Learning and Development, Business Development and Community Relations. In her tenure, McMillian has held the position of Internal Auditor, Vice President of Operations and Executive Vice President of Sales. A Certified Chief Executive (CCE), McMillian spearheaded the initiative to acquire both the Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Low Income designations. Prior to joining IHMVCU, McMillian worked as a Credit Union Examiner for the State of Iowa and currently serves as the Board Chair for the Iowa Credit Union Foundation. She graduated from University of Iowa with a BS in Finance.
