Steve has worked with a range of international organizations (e.g., AT&T, GE, Microsoft, Symantec, Oxford) to develop and launch emerging technologies and new ventures. Most recently, he served as Co-Founder and COO of Pivotus Ventures (Umpqua Bank subsidiary) charged with imagining, validating and scaling novel banking experiences. Previously, he served as VP of Incubation at Frost Data Capital, a venture capital fund and technology incubator. At Frost, Steve was responsible for investing in and incubating early-stage companies specializing in the thematic areas of Big Data, Connected Health and Industrial Internet-of-Things. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Binghamton University and an MBA from the University of Oxford with a concentration in Technology & Innovation Strategy.
