Speaker Bio
Dr. Quinetta Roberson began her wine career in the Finger Lakes Wine Region of New York. What started out as an interest in, and enthusiasm for, learning about different varietals and growing conditions blossomed into a part-time job (while on the faculty at Cornell University) working with judging panels at local wine festivals. While Quinetta assumed that her wine career ended with a move to Pennsylvania, she was introduced to the Wine School of Philadelphia, where she earned a Baccalaureate du Vin in 2012 and ultimately became an instructor. Further, after watching the documentary, Somm, Quinetta’s continued curiosity in enology and overachieving spirit encouraged her to sit for the Court of Master Sommeliers–Level 1 exam. Since then, she has earned other wine-related distinctions and teaches private courses, workshops, and wine tastings. As a lifelong learner, it should come as no surprise that Quinetta is already contemplating her next wine certification.
