Jay is a proven innovator with a track record of inventing and operationalizing new technologies in data mining and AI. He heads Zest's data science and engineering teams and has been with the company since 2017, when he was brought in to start Zest's software as a service business. Prior to Zest, Jay developed content recommendation technologies that power the world's largest websites. Jay earned a BS in computer science with honors from the University of Chicago and a Ph. D. in AI from Northwestern University.
