Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When should Crashers plan to arrive in Washington DC?

A: Hotel rooms are reserved for Friday, March 1 to Thursday, March 7. If a room is needed outside this window, Crashers will need to make their own arrangements for those days.

Q: Do Crashers have to stay in the same hotel?

A: Yes! Please trust the process.

Q: Are Crashers required to have a roommate?

A: No, we no longer require this. However, if a Crasher would like a roommate, we can accommodate that if others do as well.

Q: Who pays for a Crasher’s hotel, flight, food?

A: The employer (credit union) should be paying for all of this. A good rule of thumb is $80+ dollars per day.

Q: How do Crashers pay for things if they don’t have a corporate card?

A: We highly encourage credit unions to provide Crashers with a corporate card for booking flights, paying for the hotel, and making food purchases.

Q: Who is eligible to Crash the GAC?

A: Emerging leaders at natural person credit unions are eligible to apply.
